When I puchased my iphone 4 it was locked to Vodafone.
I have upgrded some time ago to an iphone 7.
I waild like to give my old iphone 4 to my granddaughter BUT she woud like to use Skiny rather than Vodafone.
How can I get the phone unlocked so it would take any phne company simm?
Vodafone NZ does not Network lock any iPhones that we sell.
I am going back to when I purchased the phone new around 2013.
So you are telling me that if my granddaughter buys a new sim from Skinny the phone will work OK on their network? And I do not thave to get the phone unlocked etc?
Yes, Vodafone has never locked any of the iPhones we sell. So yes, if the phone was bought from us, it does not have to be unlocked.
It will work on Skinny yes provided it supports the frequencies their network operates on.
