Apologies Christopher - had led you up the garden path so to speak.
No worries was an easy miscommunication and this is usually what causes the problem so I know why you thought that .

Apple will be calling me back tomorrow afternoon and if it's not activated by tomorrow they will be escalating it to someome higher up. I'm sure it's not something at Vodafone's end as my phone is able to make and recieve calls and texts. I do hope that this will get fixed as I do want to be able to use imessage. I do hope I don't have to again change my MSISDN as I have already given out my number.

I was getting a lot of calls from China leaving me voicemails in chinese that's why I changed my MSISDN It's suppose to be a scam going around and right now they are trying number in the +64 number range. Are you able to find out if my MSISDN has been used before by anybody or if I am the first person with that number? the CSR I spoke to told me they had no way of finding out... I'm kinda wishing I didn't change my number now I have other issues to deal with lmao

Hi folks.
1. It is not a new number. I have had it for three years
2. I had not had an issue prior to the new iOS version
3. My issue is not so much the single sms to set it up it’s that the setup never happens and the phone sends the sms cpnstantly while waiting for he receipt of settings. Surely Vodafone should be on top of this.
Sorry it's not a Vodafone issue.. - You need to call Apple Support and report the issue and ensure a case is opened.

@wayne_pcan you ask Apple for some supporting INFO / logs / technical documentation showing how it is a Vodafone issue, what the issue is, and we can investigate what they are claiming is Vodafone's failure.
Thanks
Best Regards,
Sebastian
