I keep receiving messages from Vodafone saying “Sorry you don’t have enough credit...” it’s getting to the point where I receive nearly 10 messages a day! Please help, this is very annoying. And no, I am not texting anyone or anything.

You might have subcribed to a premium sms service e.g daily horoscopes which is attempting to deliver to you. Cancel the sub and it should be sorted.
Cancel by txting STOP to the associated shortcode.

Hi,
It's possible that your phone is trying to activate iMessage or Facetime, however if you don't have enough credit to send the activation text message, you'll get these text messages from us. Could you try disabling iMessage and Facetime using the steps below:
iMessage:
Go to Settings> Messages> Tap the iMessage switch to the Off position.
Facetime:
Go to Settings> FaceTime> Tap the Facetime switch to the Off position
Thanks

I've got the same problems and tried these steps but still receiving these messages every minute! It started 2 days ago and I didn't do anything different to my phone in particular...

You would probably be best to get in touch with our mobile technical team on 0800 921 021 so they can take a look into this for you.
Thanks

I just bought a SIM for my son and registered and topped up with $20 credit. iphone 6 IOS12.4.9
He has $20 credit, is not subscribed to any premium services and is gettin 3 of these "sorry you dont have enough credit" txts from vodafone a minute!
Have confirmed he is able to make phonecalls and send sms txts so the credit has been recognized.
Please help!

It will be the background iMessage / FaceTime activation SMS to a UK number that cause the issue:
From above in the thread:
