Hi Guys,
I got a vodafone prepay sim card about 1 month ago but I never get 4G reception (3G is fine though) since then, I have tried and/or verified the following items. Just wondering if anything I can try before I pay another visit to store? any suggestion and advice are appreciated, Thank you.

Device: iPhone X
Settings:
setting - Cellular - Cellular Data Option - Voice & Data - 4G (verified it is 4G)
setting - Cellular - Network selection - automatic (Verified it is already automatic)
setting - Cellular - Cellular Data Network (verified all the settings are same as other iPhone X which has 4G reception)
What I have tried:
1. rule out the issue of my iheadset
I inserted my wife's vodafone sim to my iPhone X, and I got 4G reception. If I change back to my sim card, I only get 3G. I tried this approach in different locations and waited enough long time/restarted several time. the results are all the same. This mean my headset is working fine and it supports 4G.
2. check if my sim card has issue
I tried to use my sim card in a different iPhone X and a Samsung Galaxy 6, and they only got 3G with this sim card as well. (They have 4G reception when using other sim card)
This seems pretty obvious there is something wrong with my sim card. (at least from my perspective) So I contact Vodapone via online chat and I was suggested to go to a store to change the card.
3. I went to a Vodafone store and replaced my sim card with a new one (keeping the same phone number). They also confirmed that there is nothing wrong from their system side. However, I still cannot get 4G. I thought it might take a while to pick up the change, but no luck.

This has happened to me before,
i called 777 and asked them to make sure 4g was activated on my account, it wasn't and they fixed it in like 10 mins.

T_T I did call 777 before posting here and I was told 4g is enabled and nothing unual was found ...

hmmm that's odd, when you are checking the data are you on a call by any chance

yeah that is strange.
no, it shows 3G all the time.

Sounds like the Prepay 4G Provisioning for your number failed.

Hi.
I have 2 Vodafone numbers with the same problem. I've been to the Vodafone shop and they can't help me. Can you do the same for me too ? Thanks
