hi Team,

I got given one as a gift and it won't start up. looking at the other cases here you need to unlock it?

Hi @StephenMorison, do you know which generation your unit is? If you're not sure please post the model number printed on the base of the unit.

I think its first gen, its ethernet only no WiFi

Hi @StephenMorison

 

In that case the set top box belongs to Vodafone and cannot be gifted - it's tied to the broadband account it was originally assigned to. If whoever gave it to you isn't using it they should return it to us, as it cannot be provisioned outside of a existing Vodafone package deal.
