Volume low

Hi. The volume on the remote is maximum but you can hardly hear anything. It's not the TV, as our Apple box has volume. For the last couple of months I've noticed the volume needs to be up quite high to be able to hear. Does anyone know how to fix this please?

Hi there, 

 

I'm really sorry for the delayed response. Have you tried unplugging the HDMI cable and plugging it back in? Do you have any home theatre systems or anything plugged in between the decoder and the TV? If so, try plugging the decoder straight into the TV and see whether the sound is any better.

I called Vodafone. To correct. In menu choose settings (up top left of screen). Choose more settings. Go left and choose Reset. Say yes to restore factory settings. It should work. I only had to log back into Netflix and TVNZ apps.

Hi @J9m ,

 

Please try this:

- on the VTV main menu natvigate to the settings menu

- then navigate to the audio / volume reset option and select reset.

 

This resets the volume output level of the VTV box and should resolve your issue.  Let me know if this works or not or if you need more information to find the volume reset option.

We’ve only just bought a Vodafone TV Box and thought we would be returning it straight away, due to the volume issue....
I gave it to hubby to play with as I gave up in frustration!

Then he discovered that the Mute button, on the remote, is a volume control!!!!!

Just hold it down a bit longer

What can I say? Hubby’s always been a bit heavy handed. :-)
