@Duntee I suggest going to Jaycar or some other electronics retailer and asking them to recommend an IR extender that includes 36 GHz. A range of 30 GHz to 60 GHz would be ideal.

May cost less for you to buy the Vodafone TV Gen 2 and use Bluetooth for remote - no line of sight required.

I have a Gen 2 vodafone tv box already. No one has mentioned Bluetooth!?

@Duntee we didn't consider bluetooth because of this response of yours. This indicates that your STB is Gen1

Yes STB is inside cabinet. Just want it hidden without having door of cabinet open all the time.
Had vodafone tv about 6 months, yes it’s bundled

@Duntee if you have had it 6 months and it is bundled then it is Gen1. Gen2 has only been in market for 3 weeks.
