Over the past month we've noticed that our Vodafone TV either freezes or goes blank/black screen. We've tried various ways to get it out of this state but it usually requires us to do a hard reboot by unplugging the power cord. Every time it turns back on after this it does a "Essential System Disk Check"
Just today it frooze while watching the curling and so we unplugged and plugged back in and it did the disk check and it took some time. Then it was working for pretty much 5 minutes or less, then frooze again and we've rebooted yet again and it is currently going through a disk check.
I assume (and am on the hold to Vodafone right now) that there must be an issue with the harddrive or something and the decoder will need to be replaced.
But has anyone else experienced this? And if so, what was the solution?

Have been experiencing the same problems, mainly when watching sports - very frustrating.
THe unplugging for 5 mins is a hassle but the disk re-check is sooooo slow .
DId you get an answer from Sky/Vodafone on the issue?

I was on hold at the time of the post but when I got through to them, I explained what was happening - they said that it sounded faulty and that it'd need to be replaced. We arranged for a technician to come this morning - they phone you before arrival and it's all done now. Working fine. Give Vodafone a call and let them know, hopefully they can sort it for you quickly.

I am having the same issue. TV freezers, sometime for upto 2 minutes, unless I power cycle the box.
If this is a fault how do I get a replacement TV box?
