Thanks for the help, everyone. I persevered, found the phones and tablets button, and paired my phone to the box. Once I figured out that they were on different wifi networks and fixed that, I was able to do everything I needed to
All Vodafone needs to do now is fix the desciption on the app store!
So after speaking to the reps on the phone if you cannot see the "Phone & Tablet" app under the apps list, you need to perform a reset of the vodafone box through the more settings function, not externally. Once done the app will appear for the QR code to be scanned
