Have purchased a new vodafone tv box and all set up & working (not via vodafone) and have downloaded the vodafone tv app. However the app will not sign in.....surely this cannot be due to not acquiring via vodafone?
Anyone else come across this issue?
(MA103 - error with username or password - both of which are correct)

Mobile is not yet supported for 'The One' Vodafone TV product. If you go back to the portal @ www.vtv.nz and go to 'TV Services' and look at the devices section you will see the 'coming soon' banner.
When it is supported (soonish but timeline a little uncertain) the login will use QR code pairing rather than username and password

Thanks for that, bit of a failing on Vodafone's part to not distinguish between service differences buying from retailer vs, themselves, lets hope they resolve this soon.

Five months on and the "coming soon" banner is not on the page you describe (although I'm not sure I found it). Can you report on progress?

That would be great if it were true, but is it? Nothing on that page states that the app can be used on a standalone box, I don't have the Phoines and Tablets option in my Apps menu, on iOS App Store it says "The Vodafone TV app is exclusively reserved for Vodafone customers who have both Vodafone TV and broadband", and when I try to log into the app it doesn't recognise my details. All the evidence points toward it not being available to non-Vodafone broadband customers.
If anyone has evidence to the contrary, I would love to see it!

Do you see the Phones and Tablets app on your APPS menu of the set top box?
