VTV picture hitching then stuttering

Hiya, randomly VTV hitches/pauses/freezes for about 4 seconds, then plays for 2 seconds then hitches/pauses/freezes for 3 seconds and when it starts again the playing is all jittery and stuttery like its dropping frames. Audio is unaffected.

A temp fix is to change channels up and down and it revolves it until it happens again at a random time. Annoying if watching a movie in an action sequence.

Is there any permanent fix that someone has found?

On fibre and Ethernet cable to router.

I am also getting a similar issue where the playback randomly stutters and or stops for a few seconds.

Also on fibre and a wired connection.

Thanks

Same issue here, Vodafone TV box gen 1, direct ethernet connection to chorus UFB box.  Picture freezes for a few seconds, then resumes with a low frame rate(jerky movement).  Changing channels fixes this, but its really not good enough and needs to be fixed.  This issue has also been flagged on geekzone website.

Would be good to know if it's Vodafone server issue, overheating or decoding struggles. At least over heating we can fix ourselves.
