Now that Sky have split the basic into starter and entertainment the basic contract with Vodafone is obsolete.
When will Vodafone offer an equivilent to starter pack for the same price as Sky are offering?
Will the pricing be backdated to March 1 to reflect the change in pricing?
Or do we switch back to Sky?

We're working out the details and should have some news soon.

Thanks Mike, will we all be advised of the new pricing via email or do we have to look out for the news?

Thanks Mike, but I don't understand. Is there the new pricing that have been announced that I haven't seen ?
Can you please clarify what the news pricing structure is regarding Starter pack and Entertainment.
Thanks.

Hi, no change to the pricing structure.

Thanks Mike,
When will the new pricing for the starter pack be announced? As the basic has been split this is what we would like.
You said to phone to negotiate? Is it up to individual customers to negotiate the new starter pack? Or should we go back to Sky?

No announcement planned. Re the split, is it on the basis of $ or the channels involved?

Okay thanls for that Mike -- so looks like we could be waiting ages without really kknowing if the price changes with Sky are going to flow through to Vodafone customers.
Yes of course it's all about dollars saved.
If I can set up a starter pack similar to the Sky starter pack with maybe a news channel like BBC added the I would be prepared to keep Sky with Vodafone.
But if that's not going to happen them will have to have a long hard think about ditching Sky altogether and going to Freeview.
Thanks for the help.
Cheers.

We are feeling in similar mood and I am sure many Vodafone/Sky customers will share those sentiments. It appears Sky and Vodafone haven't got their heads together over the latest Sky pricing moves. Perhaps this is symptomatic of the Commerce Commission rejection of the merger of the two companies. The inaction of Vodafone to match Sky will certainly not do either company any good and may even hasten the death knell of Sky.
Not your fault Mike!
