Is There a Drop Dead Date For The T-Box

I notice that there are a number of posts about the new VTV box and some of the issues that customers are having.  I was quite keen to migrate to a Gen 2 VTV from a T-Box but will probably delay that decision.  It does raise an important question in my mind and that is "Does Vodafone have a drop dead date for the old T-Box network and service".  Most companies expire products and services when they are replaced with a newer version it must nearly be time..

I would say the whole HFC (Cable) network would be included in being shut off soon. There have been conflicting comments over on Geekzone about this but the short of it from what I can see is you can no longer sign up to the Cable network and just about all mention of it has been removed from Vodafone's website.

That is the opinion of the Geekzone geeks, but currently the Voda Website is still advertising the Ultra HFC service, which implies it's available.  However India don't seem to be able to help in any way, which is frustrating.
