I left Vodafone nearly 3 years ago due to poor 4g service in my town. Today the local cell tower still hasn't been touched. It only has 3g 900mhz band. Every single other provider has 4g. 2degrees having band 3 and spark having 3 cell towers in my area with them outputting 4g band 28,3 and band 40 in my area. I am very surprised why Vodafone hasn't payed attention to this tower. My town is Te Awamutu

New 4G licences have just been acquired for the Te Awamutu tower, so hopefully that means upgrade time soon Smiley Happy

Yes I see it is getting bands 28 and band 3, which will ease traffic off the distant Kihikihi tower and will improve reliability, but I believe this should of been done a lot sooner.
