Just had fibre and Vodafone TV installed last week. Vodafone TV now continually stutters. Have tried repowering ONT, router and TV box but does not help. Have tried Resetting TV box (OK,up and Power button) did not fix.
Recorded programs have the same stutter. TV 1 and 3 seem the worst.
Mac Address is 00 0B B6 1C FF 7B . IPG version 3.32 builld number 0.
Internet connectivity seems fine ( speed test reports 100 down / 50 up).
Any ideas otherwise will need to replace with something more reliable.

Ok, quick update ... so Chorus/Visionstream guy came out.
Tested the speed and it was ok.
Replaced the settop box but that did not fix it.
Thought it might be the TV so tried another newer TV but still same issue.
Tried different HDMI cables but no difference.
He now thinks it is an issue with what is being sent by Vodafone. Has has escalated to next level of support.
Been a couple of days and still waiting to hear back....

Spent 40 mins on phone to VF TV helpline last week - finally someone answered and promised to get someone to call back - still have not heard anything.
Found this thread on Geekzone http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?ForumId=40&TopicId=143359 which points to the router being the issue.
Had lots of problems with the router hanging over the weekend - had to reboot it 2 times a day for the last 3 days. Its been ok today so not sure if this was related to all the issues Spark/Telecom were having over the weekend or if the router is flakey.
Will try helpline again when I have a spare hour to wait on the phone.

Thank you for updating us here with your progress.
The router is definitely an essential part for Vodafone TV, which runs over internet. Hence if the router is disconnecting frequently it will also disconnect the Vodafone TV as well.
What you would need to do is troubleshoot the router with one of our support agents and if it is faulty, have it replaced.

Update on progress...
Had a call from Vodafone last night and had the Chorus guys here today. We tried connecting everything up right by the ONT to eliminate the home network. Still had the same issues.
Tried a new router and suddenly it all started working properly.
So seems like the router was the issue. Chorus guys were taking it down to Vodafone for them to look at.
