USB Printer on Ultra Hub

Hi has any one actually got a printer ( Brother DCP-7055) to work on this modem via usb. I have spent the last hour with the helpdesk trying to get it working but it never even showed up in the modem let alone on the laptop.

In the end he was heading down the use my old 659 in bridge mode hanging off the Ultra hub and I felt this was more a desperation mode.

The printer worked on the 659 with no issues at all .

I was looking at changing modems cause I have had it for a while now and thought it might have been a upgrade.

Sorry for the long winded message.

@Fade

Yes, new firmware released and addressing the printer setup issue.

Please note by default this feature is disabled.

Steps are as per the page in Modem

  1. Connect USB printer
  2. Using file explorer, go to\\192.168.1.1 or \\Vodafone\
  3. Select and open the printer
  4. Click "Apply" in the modem window - you can ignore the printer name window.

You can also browse using the Add Printer Wizard in Windows - select Vodafone to list your printer.

Cheers
