When I set a static IP address on ultra hub all access to Internet is blocked. I've seen from Internet that I'm not the only one this happens to...

The static ip needs to be set on our end of the connection as by default you have a dynamic ip.

Hey Mike,
you don't happen to know how I might go about gettign a static ip set up with VF by any chanve - since they dont seem to be taking phone calls today becuase of Covid-19? Which I understand.
However one of our flatmates needs to use a PABX style phone remotely via teh router which requires a static ip - I know it is possible to set up just a bit hamstrung if we cannot talk with VF.
Do you know of any other ways to simulate an static ip in the meanttime while we wait for contact to open up with VF again to get somehting properly set up
thanks
Rick

Im in the same boat, just been on the phone to customer service and they seem to think you dont need a static IP. He said just delete the ip address in the router settings. Still trying to figure it out myself.

If you want a static internet IP address, the Vodafone has to set it for you. There is nothing you do on the router other than restart it once it is assigned to your account
