Hi, I've had these multiple issues with my home network and I haven't been able to solve them, hopefully you can help - these are the issues:
1) Everytime I come up and start up my computer which is connected with an Ethernet cord to the modem, for the internet to work on the computer, I have to disconnect the Ethernet from the modem's side, leave it out for a few minutes, then plugged it back in and then it works.
2) Sometimes the internet just simply stops working and when I go to troubleshoot it on my computer, I always get one of these two responses from the troubleshooter:
a) The remote device or resource won't accept the connection
b) This computer is expericing a network connectivity problem
Sometimes this affects only my PC, and does not work until my PC and modem is restarted which is very frustrating because I'm finding myself doing this roughly twice a day. Sometimes all devices are unable to connect to the modem when this happens, however this is more rare and doesn't happen often.
Hope you can help,
Shivneel
