Lightening strike

Our house was just hit by lightening, our Vodafone router now has no lights on, it was plugged straight into the wall.  Would this just need a new power cable or will the router need replacing?

Sounds like your router got hit by a power surge and I suspect you will need a replacement router.

When you get a replacement, suggest you to put it behind a surge protector to prevent the same happening in future.
