Vodafone sent us a new modem made by Huawei for Home Wireless Broadband today. We did not ask for this.
They said that our current broadband service will be switched off and will switch us to a new monthly plan( 60GB $49.99 ) from 16 December. We did not ask for this too.
We are happy with our current plan and are concerned with using devices made by Huawei.
Would that be possible for us to continue on our current plan ( Unlimited $54.99)?
If it’s ok, we will return the new modem to Vodafone.

Best to call us to speak to our broadband team - 0800 438 448 - would be surprised if plan changed without notification. What is your concern with the Huawei device?Cheers

Vodafone said we could stick to our current plan so we returned the new modem to Vodafone today.
I've heard a lot of negative rumors about Huewei phones and devices in the past few years so am feeling a little awkward about them.
