Hi,

Sounds like the  HDD isn't getting enough power.  Does the External HDD plug into a power point or is it just powered via USB?

Thanks

Nah, Standard 2.5 drive in External closer with standard plug.

Reading manual with limited information cant find any information regarding what to or not to plug in there than formats and size.

QUTOE;

  1. Log into your Ultra Hub via a web browser to 192.168.1.1
  2. Switch to Advanced Mode, using the drop down menu in the top right corner of the screen
  3. Go to the Settings menu, select Content Sharing/Samba
  4. Switch to On
  5. Connect your hard drive to the USB port (drives larger than 2TB not supported)
  6. Refresh the Content Sharing/Samba page (reload in your web browser)
  7. Your hard drive will appear with the address to be used to connect
  8. Using your web browser, go to that address to browse and open the contents on that drive
