Can't Access UX2190 Wi-Fi Extender Admin Page

The paper doc and web page say that it's so easy... but it's not.

192.168.1.240 doesn't take me to the admin page, not in AP mode, not in Station Mode, not from direct into the Ethernet port and not after a hard reset.

My home subnet is 192.168.0.x - So nor does the equivalent .0.x addresses.

The extender, while working (yay) in AP mode, doesn't show in Fing or any other diagnostic tool.

How can I access the admin page?

you need to be on the same network ip range to access it.

If you are 192.168.0.x you wont be able to get to the extender admin page

So you'll need to manually set your PC to 192.168.1.x and connect directly to the extender.

AP mode 192.168.1.240

Station mode - 192.168.1.241-248 (depending how many you have)

Temp mode - 192.168.1.249

Once logged in, then you can change it to DHCP mode so it will run on your subnet range.

This worked thanks. I was sure I had tried making my laptop static to the factory subnet... but must have not got it quite right.
