I was trying to upgrade my HG659 to the new firmware, after choosing the file and clicked on upgrade it was counting then the modem stopped working at all, any idea how I can go to recovery mode and re-upload the firmware again I started to look for a solution online I think I should get a multicast tool which I cannot find.
If the modem wont reboot or factory reset it will be bricked. The firmware must have been interupted during upgrade. Cant recover from that on the hg659s.
So you'll need a new router - at least the Vodafone ones are cheap on trademe.
