I've been made aware that I can do this but the trick is that now I'm currently overseas. I've tried reaching out to lots of channels including online chat and the VF order email but to no avail. Is there anything else that I can do here?

Not really these days you should of topped up before deactivation, A number of reminder SMS are sent out before deactivation happens
It's quite a manual process to reactivate a prepaid number and it costs the business real $$
