My new replacement phone - what a mistake

We haven't got a Vodafone agent here on the West Coast so transferring my old number to my new phone became an issue. After contacting the Ninja's a decision was made, by a Vodafone Manager, that they would do the change online. It would take 24 - 48 hours, that was on 18 June - I'm still waiting? Because of this "no response x vf" I am trying to do the change with a new provider but are having difficulty with my vf locked phone. I am so incredibly stunned by the lack of interest in providing the most basic customer service - the Ninja's were fantastic but the're toothless as there referals to another vf service go unanswered. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place - and I don't like it. It looks my only option is to sell my new vf phone and go to Spark?
