I bought a prepaid SIM card from Vodafone (Westfield Albany store) 3 days ago and asked to port my mobile number from 2degrees to Vodafone.
However, my previous number still has not been transferred to my Vodafone SIM card despite calling the service hotline 5 times, went to a Vodafone store again, waiting for 3 days and counting.
I've confirmed with 2 degrees several times that, on their system, my old number has been transferred to Vodafone already. As such, they cannot get my number back unless Vodafone has activated that mobile number in their system. My reply from Vodafone is that my old number is not active, and their technical team/porting team should be able to fix that. Yet nothing happens still....
Please help me to fix this problem. It will be a huge hassle to change your corresponding number to each and everyone/institute that has ties with you.
