Hi,
We are deploying 5 x computer terminals across the airport and cannot use the companies network for internet access and therefore have to use a 4G data connection. But how we secure the connection to the computer terminals is by whitelisting their IP address. So i have two questions about your 4G connection.
1. Are we able to have a static IP address on a 4G vodem/mobile hotspot?
2. How often does an IP address change on a 4G vodem, if we stay in one location and don't disconnect i'd assume that we would have the same IP address?
Thanks,

Thanks for your post.
1. No
2. Yes
The IP is dyncamically assigned but if you don't disconnect then it will stay the same.

Spark have just recently released a 4G plan with static IP address. Could be worth looking in to.
