Wrong cable supplied

So here's the issue - in two weeks I'm being switched to yor new VOIP phone system.  You've kindly sent me a Panasonic twinset but the connecting cable - between the phone's base unit and the modem - has an old-fashioned BT plug at one end.

Your team, in some exotic overseas location, failed to understand the dilemma, althoughin the endhey did suggest - after much laughter between themsleves -  I just go out and buy a cable.  If you're supplying a solution, shouldn't it actually be a solution and not a new problem?

If you had a answer machine on your POTS landline they should be giving you free voicemail on the VOIP line. I note other VOIP providers give free features on a line.

I think the Panansoinc unit does have a voicemail capability - but it's not much use if it's not connected to the modem.
