Hi,

A Vodafone tech bricked my Huawei HG659 during a firmware upgrade (thats why I dont like vodafone having access to my equipment!) and now its going to take upto 5 weeks to get a replacement as vodafone have no modems in stock and the next shippment is due to arrive in December/ early Januaray.

I have a Cisco 1841. Cisco Small Business SRP527W , Cisco Catalyst 4000 and a D-Link N750. I just need to know if any of these will work in the meantime and if so what settings do I need?

I haven't heard of any current shortage of modems. There may have been a misunderstanding as we have recently stopped sending out the Vodafone Station modem, it's now replaced with the HG659, but that certainly shouldn't affect you.

You can use another router with our fibre connections. It will need to have vlan tagging set to 10. Here's a screenshot of the settings in the HG659.
