Vodafone PC Protection

I run Widows 10 on both my laptop and desktop and have installed Vodafone PC Protection on both.  The problem is that on both computers, Windows Defender advises that I take urgent action by turning on PC Protection.  However when I open PC Protection it advises that it is on and that my computer is protected.

I used Avast Free Anti virus prior to uninstalling it and installing F Secure and never experienced this problem.    For the record, I tried telephonically discussing this problem with one of the so called Ninjas who had absolutely no clue as to how to resolve.this. 

Do I uninstall Vodafone PC Protection by F Secure and revert back to Avast Free or is there a solution.
