Have been finding over the last 2-3 days I have been unable to access the ASB website to do internet backing. (www.asb.co.nz)
Have tried Firefox and Chrome on my laptop and Firefox, Chrome and Safri on the iPad. None load the site.
Have cleared cookies, site data, cache etc but that doesnt help.
Have turned modem off, waited then restarted it. that doesnt help.
Flushed the dns and also changed the dns settings but that doesnt help.
Ran a trace route and that fails as well as a ping to asb.co.nz
The trace route gets so far then returns "Request Time Out" and ends with "Destination Net Unreachable"
The Ping fails on all 4 packets sent
Have tried my neighbours.
One is on Spark and it loaded but another is on the Vodafone network and it failed to load as well.
Have called ASB and they were not aware of any issues but checking the website DownDetector it shows many people with the same problem.
A few years back there was an issue on Vodafones side to do with some DNS servers that were faulty that was stopping websites from loading.....could this be the issue ???
Vodafone New Zealand...can this be looked into please.
Seems ASB has looked into this and its been sorted.

Looks like I spoke to soon. After receiving notification that this was solved by ASB (via Twitter) it looks like its down again !!!
Can not access the site at all this morning.
