Just a quick post to let you know that new firmware is available for the UltraHub. Most modems will automatically update but in case you want to do it yourself - steps to follow and link to download are here.
What is a firmware update?
Firmware is a software that is embedded into a hardware device, in this case your modem. Firmware controls how devices behave. Firmware update often fixes bugs, contains new features, and protects you from security vulnerabilities.
Why upgrade the existing firmware?
This firmware fixes some key bugs and adds security fixes:
When are the automatic updates?
Updates will be completed between 1am and 6am (Monday to Friday). The upgrade is automatic and no action is needed from you.

It ends in 2-4-9 in the Status/About page.
You can manually update it rather than wait for auto update if you want.

Hey,
There is a bug with this firmware.. You cannot tunr off the "DNS Proxy". It momentairly tuns off then re enables itself.
I can connect my RTSP stream to my Alexa Show in that momentar window but after there is no ability to.
Would be good to know if there is a fix for this or a workaround. Might be back to HG659 soon!
Cheers

You need to change the Local DNS server IP before it will allow you to change the DNS Proxy option.
Set the Local DNS server as something else (eg 8.8.8.8) and then it will turn of and work as desired.

Hey. Thanks for the reply.
I see what you mean now, I have no issue in using vodafone DNS it's just the proxy causes issues with local network dns resolution. If I enable PiHole DNS it works fine and I can set my DNS back to Vodafone in my server.
thanks
