After spending over 5 hours on the phone to Vodafone customer support and 2 hours today in a physical Vodafone shop I am still unable to fix the following.
Before the weekend I had VDSL and a home phone working fine, I had permanent (always on) Phone Divert always from my landline to my mobile.
After the switch to fibre, I cannot successfully get this to work.
I have typed in the new *72 code (for call divert based on http://help.vodafone.co.nz/app/answers/detail/a_id/26443/~/phone-divert-service-for-voice-calling-ov...) then the number to transfer to, I hear the confimation that Phone Divert always is on and then hang up.
When I dial my landline it rings then says please wait transferring now and then says "The number you have called is not active"
I have tried many different numbers in case it was my mobile (including other cell and landlines), with and without areas codes but none are working always the same error
Call divert is paid on my account etc. as It has been for several years.
Does anyone have any ideas or a better way to get a tech that knows what I'm talking about instead of going around in circles?
