No Landline on Fibre plan for over a month

Over a month ago our Fibre modem reset itself and somehow aquired a different telephone number.  After 6 calls to the help desk with 6 promises it will be fixed and someone will call me back (never happened once) we are still without our telephone number and as of a week ago the landline doesnt work at all.

 

Apparently our original number is still on our account so if I move ISPs will that number transfer allow us to have our landline back?
