New Internet cables installed in our street has made the internet worse!

The Enable internet vans and a bunch of workers were in our street in Sumner, Christchurch, recently, and they spent several weeks putting down new internet cables.

However, now the internet service is terrible. It drops out every ten minutes, making it nearly impossible to stream or download anything. Everyone on the street is experiencing the same issues also.

Is there anything that can be done? Rather than improving the internet, the new cables have made it much, much worse.

Looking forward to your responses!

The new cables will be the new fibre ones. Unless you have changed over to fibre they would have no effect on your broadband. Unless the Enable workers have damaged the phone wires. You should call Vodaone to get it fixed. Let them know that everyone in the street is having trouble. This will help the technicians track down where the cause is.
