Fibre Internet not working

Need some advice here, about 7pm Tuesday we were watching Vodafone TV with the family and then the fibre internet cut out.. along with Vodafone TV... a few minutes later the 3g/4g backup mobile network in the modem kicked in and restarted the internet so we left it at that, the next day noticed it was still on the 3g/4g network so I done all the usual checks, checked the cables, restarted the modem and still the fibre is not working and it is still going on to the mobile network. What is going on with our fibre? The mobile network was also pretty poor, the Vodafone TV would buffer/pause every few minutes, this isn't the first time we have had issues with Vodafone or Vodafone TV, we have the old first version of the Vodafone TV set top box from the beginning and find everything about it to be very poor quality along with the remote not even responding at times, we want to be loyal to this company but this is just getting too frustrating and we will change providers if we continue to have issues with either of these services.

The ONT box is also showing a red light for "POS" could this be the issue, what does this mean, I have also tried our old Ultra Hub modem and it is not connecting to the internet either.

@wre1991  If the optical is lost then it's nothing to do with Vodafone, The same thing can happy on any ISP
