Same issue for me across office365.com, office.com + ib.kiwibank.co.nz (so far). Have tried restarting router and using google's public DNS server (https://developers.google.com/speed/public-dns) which didn't resolve the issue.

Yep I've got the same problem accessing Office.com and also BNZ using Wireless Broadband but it does work fine when I tether to my phone, only problem is my work computer won't tether to my phone so I am screwed.

My Rural Broadband (Selman Road, is very unreliable and I'm trying to do MoH and DHB work, It is proving extremely frustrating. Just ggot cut out of Zoom meeings with National Particiapnts.


Any idea how to get technical advice as one has to claim a medical emergency, and TxT ToBy is got Isolation / COVID-19 issues (why??) it an oxymoron to make contact via internet (cutting in and out, ? Blocking)?

Hi Vodafone

Same as these other customers, I cannot connect to my work servers, or other large sites like ird or Bank.

Can connect to Vodafone. however...... obviously.

Connection is unreliable/intermittent and slow.

It's just not good enough.

 

C'mon Vodafone are you going to be up front about your plans for the future service to rural broadband users?

 

Or have you dumped us completely?

Yep,  Same problem here (Levin).  We are on rural broadband and everything worked ok yesterday, but I noticed Internet froze last night and couldn't access Outlook email, but other sites ok.  Today cannot access large networks like banks and outlook completely out.  Connection very patchy too.  I was expecting more pressure on telco networks, but was of the understanding Vodafone had prepared for this.  It seems rural broadband customers have been left out of any backup or fixes during this time.  It's seems every time there is an upgrade or alteration to the system, somebody loses their services.

 

Its Really not good enough.  I'm pretty sure we will be changing telco companies after this.

Agreed this is very annoying. I am using my phone data which is going to get chewed up really quickly. No response from Vodafone via their help channels. My IT expert has found a workaround. He set me up with ExpressVPN and connected me to the Australian server. This has solved my immediate problem of not being able to get to my banking or Office 365. Hope this information helps someone else.

Brilliant thanks. I was trying VPNs and started with NordVPN which wouldn't connect but ExpressVPN to Sydney does and I can now access sites that were blocked before.

Same issue for me.

Traceroute shows the issue within the Vodafone network so hopefully, they can give some feedback on what is happening.

Its ironic they are offering uncapped data overnight, but break the network during the day...

Same issue here for me - Ive got a mobile broadband router and get most websites but Outlook can't connect to pull mail down.  Some websites dont work, like MetService.  

 

Only workaround is to hotspot off phone which seems to work fine - Vodafone as well.

 

Wish Vodafone would just acknowledge there is an issue, as we all know this is a difficult time

Same problem for me on RBI. Yesterday all essential services (MS, Azure, Outlok, etc) stopped working.

 

I should mention I do IT for various health sector organizations, so it's kind of important that I'm able to work without interruption. I'll be using a VPN for now, but this is anoying when developing in an RDP setup given the additional latency.
