New to vodafone mobile network and samsung/android phones.
Bought the new galaxy s9+ yesterday and had my cell phone number transferred over from a different provider. This was activated this morning and whilst going through the various setups/logins for multiple apps, each time I ask to have a verification code text to my cell phone number, I do not receive anything.
Other calls and texts come through from normal cell phone numbers but not the shorter verification senders.
Is this an issue with the samsung or vodafone?
Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the vendors sending the verification SMS to you haven't updated their routing since your number has ported, hopefully it resolves itself soon if not already, otherwise you may need to contact the company of the app so they can raise it with their SMS vendor.
