What are the pluses and minuses of saving Contacts to the SIM card as opposed to the phone?
What is the 'recommended' way to save Contacts?

Personally I think it's best to save your contacts on a cloud based storage (eg iCloud or the Google equivalent). -- Then if my SIM card or the phone it is kept in is lost / stolen / damaged, I will still have a copy of all my contacts.
Also with a cloud based storage, you'd have next to unlimited storage space for these, whereas if you are storing them to the SIM, you are limited to a small number (I believe 50 contacts on the latest 48K SIM's we are issuing).
Also, with a cloud based storage solution, you can store a lot more feature rich INFO on each contact (EG including addresses, other phone numbers, photo, email addresses etc). Whereas on the SIM you can not

Would agree, I've stored all my contacts etc in the cloud - unlimited space and very handy in case of emergencies.
Thanks for the post.
