I have an iphone 5S (purchased a few months ago) which froze this morning. I tried to do a reset but it wouldnt work. I am now doing the iphone recovery but my phone seems frozen with the apple logo & progress bar (with no progress!!). Someone mentioned this has been happening to iphone 5's after the latest system update? Any tips? I run a business and can't be without my phone!!!

The Apple Community site is full of this question.
Apple does have a site to show what to do:
Looks like to me you put it in recovery mode and start again ??
Also found this that talks about DFU Mode:
Good Luck !!

Hi! Thanks so much for these tips. I managed to get it into itunes to restore... but this is where it gets frozen with the apple logo and the progress bar that goes nowhere for hours. Guessing it will need to be sent back?

So what happens when you unplug it ?
Does the progress bar remain or go away?
Did you try the DFU option. That seems to over ride the recovery mode.
Not sure where you live but could take it to Oobe. They deal with Apple and do servicing.
