Hi, how do I set up my iphone 5 so I can receive my clear.net.nz emails? I already have a gmail account but want to also be able to view my clear.net.nz emails.
I've tried following the directions on this website for ipads using a host name of pop.clear.net.nz and SMTP of smtp.clear.net.nz but it doesn't seem to work.

Welcome to the Community.
Is it by any chance hanging on the setup screen when it tries to automatically detect the settings for ClearNet? We saw a similar issue when setting a colleague's iPad up not too long ago, but did find a workaround. If you could let us know exactly what's happening - at which point it's not working, or how far you're able to get in the setup process - we should be able to give you a hand.

I enter all the information on the page marked "New Account" with the choice of IMAP or POP at the top. I use POP and put in the info for incoming mail server and outgoing mail server as per vodafone website (pop.clear.net.nz and smtp.clear.net.nz) and hit Save, and then it gets stuck as it is verifying and cannot. Just tried turning off SSL and it has worked today (swear I tried this previously but over 3G not wifi? perhaps that makes a difference??). Is this safe to do?

Thank-you, just tried that and it worked! Does it matter if I don't use SSL? If so, is there a way to get it to work using SSL?

Actually, it hasn't completely worked...I can download and read my emails, but I can't send replies.
I get the following message-"The connection to the outgoing server smtp.clear.net.nz failed". Any suggestions?
