We need more details like what is the error message on the screen, what are the lights on the modem and what are they doing.

Message is service unavailable (on all channels) its getting internet (using a splitter box at the tv for 3 devices, other 2 working fine)

Do you mean a network splitter box (ie: switch) or coax splitter?
