Ive been reading around and it seems theres a Vodafone TV update due today. A couple of questions about this.

- Is it pushed automatically or do I need to update from the box?

- Whats included in the update? Were not very happy with Vodafone TV with box freezes, recording failures, artifacting and sound issues with some recordings and live tv, and poor performance around menus.

Hi Kimkam

The update is pushed automatically, or downloaded immediately if you power-cycle.  If it hasn't already downloaded automatically overnight, it will tonight (or if you power-cycle).

There is some lower level fixes in the build and diagnostics to assist us in resolving problems.  This includes a fix for random crashes.  The new fix you will notice is for channel surfing via the channel up/down buttons.  You can hold down either channel up or down and the unit will cycle through the channels.  Stopping the button push will tune to the channel.

Cheers,
Grant

Cheers. Are there any plans for an updated box, or to improve the current one. It doesnt really stack up to Sky's HDi which is a shame.

Hi Taylor,

Please PM me your account number and first MAC address listed on the rear of the unit. I will put a stop to the loop.
If you provide that info I'll have someone call you and organise a tech visit (the unit will need to be swapped out for another).

Cheers
Grant
