Vodafone TV App not working on iPad - Error MA181

Hi guys,

 

I'm trying to use the Vodafone TV app on my ipad, but it doesn't work stating error MA181. Does anyone know what this means? It works fine on my iphone.

Hi Mick,

 

I too am experiencing the same issue. I have only switched over to Vodafone TV today and trying to access for the first time.  Would it have anything to do with the fact I have CustomerZone login (ex-TelstraClear Cable Network)?

I also can not access the app on my iPhone, however this time I am getting error MA103.

I am using the same Profile Username and Password that I access Customer Zone with no issues.

Any ideas people?

Hi Mike,

 

Yes have the Vodafone TV set top box, have the tv app on my iphone which works. Vodafone TV app just doesn't work on my ipad.

Hi Mike,

 

I am all up and running via the STB.

 

I currently have two logins into Customer Zone. One is using my account number for login and the other is via a profile username (as requested by Vodafone on the Customer Zone webpage). I have been trying to access the app using my profile username with no luck as stated above.

 

Today I utilised the account number as login on the app on my iPhone and it worked. So all good there. However still no luck with accessing via the iPad app.  Still getting an error - MA181

Paul,

 

Logging into the app should work both with:

 

- Account number and password

- Profile ID and profile password

 

Can you please confirm that your profile ID login still fails with error code MA181? If that is the case, I will PM you for some additional information so that we can troubleshoot.

When I tried to open the Vodafone TV on my iPad, it was continuously showing the error message. I thought that I might have a problem with my iPad. So I verified it from Firefox Support, but no fault was there. Thus they suggested going through this. I would like for more suggestions.

If you are still getting MA181 error on iPad, can you please let me know:

 

- Version if Vodafone TV app you are running?

- iPad model

- iOS version

- Are you using account number or profile id (username) for login?
