Vodafone TBox frozen and all recordings lost. HDD dead?

Hi all,

Our Vodafone (Telstra) t box freezes after about 30 seconds of powering on.

I have done a power cycle a few times of both the t box and the modem.

I have performed the 3 finger reset twice.

I have noticed 2 things that make me think the HDD has died in the unit.
1. When it powers up after the 3 finger reset it goes to disk check but never gets beyond 0%.
2. When I did manage to quickly get to the planner, all of our recordings are gone.

Any assistance would be appreciated

Hi @Brenoc

 

It does indeed sound like the hard disk has died.

 

Could you please call 0800 800 021 and they will be able to book a tech for a replacement unit.

Thanks Grant. A technician has been booked and is coing out on Thursday to replace the unit.
