Issues with Vodafone TV

I have just turned to Vodafone TV and am all connected. However the WPS light on the Station extender does not stay on and from time to time the picture freezes. Please help.

Surely the WPS light on the Station extender should stay on

Hi @DereckGWright, No the WPS (or WiFi Protected Setup) light should not stay on all the time. WPS is a system that's used to easily connect new devices to your WiFi, so should only stay on for short periods of time. This light turning off will be unrelated to the freezing issues you're having. On a related note, these freezing issues appear to be extremely common for Vodafone TV users, so I highly doubt it's anything to do with your particular setup. Far more likely a fundamental bug in the set top box software, or an issue with infrastructure at Vodafone.

Thank you for that, now we all just hope that Vodafone will do something sooner not later about the freezing

There was a statement put out yesterday about it.

They are on to it. Might take a while to fix but they know what is causing it

Well if they know what's causing the freezing, then they should have had it fixed by now. Over the last several days mine has frozen at 6pm each night so I miss the start of the news and changing channel or 20sec forward does not help, just have to wait. And today at noon the whole thing froze, with the message 'cannot connect etc', so after resetting all I finally got to the noon news at 12.20pm. Not satisfactory at all. Maybe I should have stayed with Sky.

And one other thing; How come we cannot record some programs?
