Green Lines, Pixelation and Freezing

Upgraded to Vodafone Sky TV on Fibre just before Christmas and it started off well. The last couple of months we've had Green Lines appearing first, then Pixelation and then Freezing. Thought Fibre was supposed to be good and not affected by outside influences at all. Can this be fixed? I've tried turning everything off and unplugging to see if it resets, plug back in, it works for a while but then starts going bad again.

I have enabled logging on your unit and sent a reboot to it.  It will likely reboot a couple of times.  Will do some digging into this issue for you.

Hi @josheba64

 

Can you please private message me with your account number and contact details.

 

Enabling logging has revealed your unit has a faulty hard disk, so will need replacing.  This will explain the issues you have been experiencing.


If you provide me those details, I will have someone call you to arrange a tech visit.

Thank you so much. A guy from Downer arrived this morning - Sunday - and has replaced the STB. Working great now, thank you again. Had forgotten how clear it could be as have put up with random green lines for a while now.
