This message is an ongoing post where we will offer network information for the Southland region.

From time to time we may temporarily suspend or restrict a Service so that we can carry out maintenance and development work on the Network.  We will always try to ensure that we give you as much notice as is reasonably practicable and that such suspensions or restrictions take place outside normal business hours.

You can choose to regularly visit this post, or we would recommend that you subscribe (big red button below). This way, any time we post about upcoming maintenance in this region, you will receive an email letting you know.

Please also note that the maps included in each post cover an indicative area of the potential outage and are not meant to show exactly where the outage will be.

Un-Planned outage on our mobile network

Customers in Centre Hill, Southland may currently be experiencing degraded 2G/3G/4G mobile services, due to a power outage.


This issue has been identified as a high priority by our tech teams, who are currently working to resolve this.

While we do not yet have a resolution timeframe, our technicians are working their hardest to get this resolved for you as soon as possible.

UPDATE: Un-Planned outage on our mobile network

While our technicians are working their hardest to restore the fault in your area, customers in Centre Hill may still be experiencing degraded 2G/3G/4G mobile services.

We are hoping for the services to be restored as soon as possible. Severe weather conditions has caused further delay.

We really appreciate your patience at this time and will confirm with you on this noticeboard once the services have been restored.

Again, we do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Customers in Centre Hill may still be experiencing degraded 3G and 4G mobile services.

The site is currently running on generator. There is no estimated timeframe from the power company yet.

We really appreciate your patience at this time and will confirm with you on this noticeboard once the services have been restored.
