I was trying to activate this sim using www.vodafone.co.nz/getgoing.
After entering details, such as firstname lastname email and DOB, it keeps saying
It looks like our service is currently unavailable. Please try again later or call 777 and press 0 to talk to our Customer Care team.
So I did twice last night and they couldn't solve it.
I am suspecting the cause for this is down to me. Without reading proper instruction on the sim pack, I went straight to vodafone.co.nz on my laptop and signed up with this phone number.
When I logged in I couldn't do anything, I couldn't see my current plan, I couldn't change it etc. I was only allowed to top up.
So when I rang for the first time the rep said he would cancel the account so I can go through the proper sequence of signing up using getgoing address.
When I tried again it showed me the same message.
So I rang the second time and she said the account wasn't cancelled so she was trying to log in using my details and asked for password. I gave her that but she couldn't log in. I later found out this was because the account was in fact cancelled. She said she would call me back after getting in touch with their tech team but i still haven't got any call back and I haven't been able to use your service.
Can anybody rectify this problem? My number is zero two one zero eight one two zero five six one.
