Password Resets not Working

I have tried to change my password, thorugh both the MyVodafone App and the Website.  In both instances a password that I consider complex is being raised as not secure enoguh, the pattern is Abcdef@123x.  It would appear to me the system is somewhat broken....

Also on the iOS MyVodafone app when I swtiched from uppercaseto lowercase the keyboard moves up and down on the screen making it unusable.

Good morning @apaice

 

When you attempt to save your password is it telling you it isn't strong enough or does it just not save?

 

Can you please update your D.O.B in your profile (if this has not already been done) and then re attempt changing your password?

I am also having this problem....have tried many , many times with complex passwords following instructions but continue to get the "assword not secure enough etc,etc"

 

I am at my wits end !

This is also my problem.  I can't change DOB as I have forgotten password and that is the reason I'm trying to change it.  Like other users I have used all kinds of different combinations but it just says that I need  6 charaters and at least 1 number. (or something similar)

 

Frustrating especially trying to pay my account.

Exact same issue here, and I was going via the link you posted @Lon  I would very much like to pay my bill via the app, but cannot at present until this is resolved.

This has been happening for a long time.

I even posted last year (20/9) about this.

Even went into a Vodafone Store and the lady there couldnt change it !!!

And yes my DOB is correct.

 

Theres a MAJOR PROBLEM with this and Vodafone does not seem to care.

Fact is...people need to change passwords and your site does not allow it to happen.

Do NOT blame it on other things.

The system is broken !!

 

And theres NO option to put Two Factor Authentication or Two Step Verification in place.

Considering people use this with Credit Card details and pay bills etc...I would of throught this would of been in place.

In fact any site that operates like yours I would remove any saved credit card details.

I'm also having this same problem. When i type in a new password it gives me an error:

Please check your password. Your password is not secure enough. Passwords must be a minimum six characters and must contain at least one letter and number.

My password is very strong. yet i cannot proceed due to this error. please fix this or i'll just change to another telco since Vodafone is not functional for me

Bad enough that i cannot install Vodafone app because the app is region locked!! I can't even use Vodafone online now. I give up.
